CommCore Consulting Sr. Vice President, Dale Weiss, spoke at the HACR – Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility all-live 2021 Executive Programs alongside CommCore’s Vice President Amy Doman in a session titled Leading Through Uncertainty on June 16, 2021.
As a leading crisis communications firm, for 35 years CommCore has helped organizations be ready — prepared prior to a crisis — and working side-by-side both during and after a communications crisis. In the session, Weiss described the different types of crises, provided case studies, and offered ways to best be prepared for the inevitable challenge that an organization will face.
Weiss also dug deep into the realities of crisis, the role social media plays in these cases, and the different approaches that can be made through PR strategies to restore the organizations or business reputation. Providing many examples, Weiss also engaged the audience through polling questions and todays evolving world. The session ended with the planning process leading to a response plan.
