CommCore welcomes Saakje Hoekstra as our spring intern. Saakje is an undergraduate student at Fordham University, majoring in Communication and Media Studies with a minor in Marketing.

Creative, hardworking, and fun!
What are you most passionate about?
I am very passionate about creating and building relationships, whether they be personal or professional. I am a firm believer that productivity and change is best driven when there are strong relational foundations between all members of a team. I am definitely a people person, so meeting and getting to know new people is something I do on the daily!
Why intern at CommCore?
As a Communication major and Marketing minor, I felt CommCore would be a great place to both learn more about the Communication and Media industry, as well as tangibly apply the knowledge I’ve gathered in my college career. I was also very impressed with CommCore’s client list, and felt it would be a great opportunity to learn about new industries that I am not currently familiar with.
What is your favorite social media channel?
I love Twitter. Not only is it a fast way to catch up on news and stay up to date on current events, but it is also the best platform to keep up to date on memes (the best ones are on Twitter before they’re anywhere else!)
