Virtual Training: Coronavirus & Beyond

The short and long-term impacts of the coronavirus on your business are constantly evolving. It is critical that your communications to internal and external audiences be clear and consistent.

With continued business uncertainty, CommCore clients can and should use virtual communications technologies, rather than in-person meetings, presentations and training.

CommCore offers virtual, web-based training that is effective and reliable. Our virtual training provides the same counsel, interactivity and exercises as an in-person session, including:

  • Ability to see the trainer and the trainer to see you
  • On-camera rehearsal and role playing
  • Video capture and playback in real time
  • Electronic delivery of video after training

So, there’s never a good reason to suspend training: there’s always a reason and a way to improve your communications skills.

Please contact us to let us know how CommCore can help you with virtual training and coaching.

Here are a few CommCore recommendations on how to make the most of any virtual meeting:
  1. Treat virtual meetings as if you are in person.
  2. Prepare the room and test the equipment in advance to ensure a smooth start.
  3. Use video, not just audio, if you have subscribed to Zoom, WebEx or similar technologies.
  4. Check the camera shot to make sure you are clearly visible.
  5. Body language and voice tone matter. Pay attention to eye contact, voice and gestures, as you would in-person.
  6. Stay engaged and focused. Leaders should not check emails or be distracted.
  7. Have an agenda and manage everyone’s time as wisely as if you were in a conference room.
