During this pandemic of COVID19, CommCore employees are doing their part to help our local communities. We want to support those in need, including:
- Coaching public officials in Connecticut to prepare for community communications and announcements.
- Donating a pair of shoes for every pair that is bought through the Richfield (CT) Running Club.
- Buying gift certificates from local vendors for future use and supporting their local merchants in DC, NY and CT
- Organizing a food drive in Arlington, VA and donating over 200 pounds of food to the local food bank. Food banks’ needs have tripled.
- Continuing to foster dogs for a regional rescue organization.
- Donating to World Central Kitchen– they provide free meals to those in need.
- Volunteering at ‘Person to Person Food Pantry’ in Stamford, CT.
- Donating Blood at the Red Cross.
- Collecting shirts from neighbors and made 455 cotton strips to donate that will make that many protective masks with the Westport, CT Youth Group.
- Donating to the National “Virtual Tip Jar,” and donating food to the Rochester Food Pantry.
- Donating gift baskets to Rochester, NY healthcare workers.
- Donating to local small business hospitality workers.
