CommCore continues to operate remotely during the pandemic. We value the safety and health of our workforce and their families. With offices in Washington DC, New York, Los Angeles and Dallas, we continue to follow CDC guidelines in an effort to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Like many companies, CommCore waits for further protocols as to when it will be safe to return to the office or traveling to clients. While we miss our offices in downtown DC, midtown New York City and Dallas, we are thankful we can continue operations virtually.
Fortunately our work and client service offerings continues almost without a hitch in the virtual world. Our consultants are now experts in conducting remote media, presentation, and crisis communications trainings using various virtual platforms. Learn more in recent Forbes Article by CEO Andy Gilman on how the remote era has improved leadership training.
Here are a few ways we keep quality control in the remote environment. We assign two members to each program – a senior consultant/instructor, and a producer who is an expert in the training platform’s user functions. Whether it’s Zoom, Adobe Connect, Microsoft Teams, or WebEx our staff is committed to making the virtual training experience as equally valuable as in-person. The senior consultant is able to focus on teaching the content virtually with the ability to record and playback in real-time, while the producer is able to run the back-end system to ensure a smooth and productive session.
And even though our staff meets daily via Zoom, this past month the DC staff met at Andy’s home for some socially distanced pizza and drinks!
